Travelling from Kenmare into Killarney, the route takes us over scenic Moll’s Gap before arriving at Ross Castle on the edge of Lough Leane. From here, take a boat tour of the Killarney Lakes and arrive at Lord Brandon’s Cottage for some refreshments. From here, you can enjoy a jaunting car drive through the Gap of Dunloe to Kate Kearney’s Cottage. Another option is to walk the seven miles through the Gap and truly immerse yourself in the stunning scenery!
Kate Kearney’s Cottage is a great stop, and for the walkers a very well-deserved one - to enjoy a rest and some lunch before returning to Kenmare.
